Ate Ricci and Tom (cousin and cousin-in-law, respectively) arrived from Colorado earlier today. For the first time in my whole entire life, I was the one behind those railings in NAIA, waiting on someone to arrive from the States. Man, I've never felt like such a local until today. HeHe. And to make sure that my cousin was safe, I arrived at the airport one whole hour before her expected arrival. *Ahem.
For lunch, we decided to have shabu-shabu. I've always wondered what the heck it is since I've seen the shabu-shabu restaurant at The Podium every time I go there. Well, since you learn something new everyday, I guess shabu-shabu was my lesson for the day. Although, I still don't know why they call it as such.
